Occupation: Semiconductor Operations
Mgmt Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Mike: Hi all. It's great to read the strories and catch up on eveyone's whereabouts. A brief history of my last 20 yrs would go something like this: After graduating from UCSB in 89 and working in SB for a year, my future wife (Justine) and I headed to Japan to teach English and enjoy the experience of living and travelling overseas. After two years and about 12 Asian countries, we were back in California. I went back to schoold (UCSD) and then got started working in Semiconductor Operations. A few years at Intel and these days I'm at a start up that supplies memory to gaming companies such as Nintendo, Mattel, etc. Hard work but hopefully worth it. In the meantime we've had two kids: my daughter Chloe is now 10, and Graham is 7. I spend my free time coaching there various teams and going to Cub Scout meetings. And I'm proud to say they have both been to a Def Leppard concert! We are living in San Jose with 2 lizards and a hairless (hypo-allergenic) dog named Pepi. Looking forwards to seeing you all MT |

Occupation: Artisan Cheesemaker
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Alicia: It's been a lifetime since the five year reunion. I am on my 18th year of marriage to my husband (Miramonte Class of 1978) and we have three wonderful sons--the eldest is the age that I still picture myself(15), in high school! I've supported my husband's medical career as an at-home mom, written a novel, moved from California to Virginia, then to Texas where I started a herd of registered dairy goats and began my cheesemaking venture. I am now living my dream on 77 rural acres outside of Dallas, building a new creamery and a custom home. I've never gotten used to thunderstorms or tornado warnings and I took a week off in 2004 to go back "home" and go wine tasting with friends. Most of my goats are imported from the West Coast, where I hope to retire. I miss the fog! |

Occupation: Project Manager
Marital Status: Married From Robert: I can’t say I anticipate the reunion, in fact, anything associated with the 80’s brings on panic attacks. However, one can’t change one’s history, might as well be man enough to face it. Though to face it, there better be plenty of ice cold malt liquor. Like probably everyone, I seemed to have lived a couple of lives and gone through many stages since back in the day.. . In the present era I manage construction projects in San Diego which is a dull but mostly honest way to make a living. However, it’s only to finance my participation in high risk activities such as motorcycling, horse riding, gambling, etc. If you are thinking of coming to the event, by all means go. Let’s kick it up some. (Yes, I did change my last name. I reverted back to the European spelling my grandpappy had before the Nazi’s ran him out of Eastern Europe. Its no reflection on White, just a compromise with the wife as part of wedding negotiations-you know how it is...) |

Occupation: analyst/investment
manager Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From David: After Miramonte I studied Mandarin Chinese at UCSB, Beijing University and UC Berkeley. I met my wife Corinne while she was also a Mandarin student at Beijing University. We both graduated from Berkeley in December 1989 and went to Hong Kong where we stayed for 5 years. I spent most of that time as an analyst at Baring Securities in the years before it was spectacularly blown up by Nick Leeson in Singapore. In a succession of unlikely events, Tad Buchanan, Jon Conner and Kristi Drucquer (now McCombe) all moved to Hong Kong and we all ended up working in the same building in Exchange Square and working-out in the same gym at lunch. Jeff Hawkins’ brother Jon moved there too just to round out the crew. We had some memorable times and many adventures in Hong Kong in the years before the 1997 handover when it still felt very English but change was all about. Corinne and I were married in 1993 and came back to San Francisco in 1994 when I joined Montgomery Asset Management. I was a partner there for 7 years and have joined one of my former Montgomery colleagues in a small investment management partnership in San Francisco. Corinne and I have three children Zoë (10), James (8) and Isabelle (2). Corinne has taken a break from work in museums collection management to be a full time mother. We won’t be able to make it to the dinner but will be at the picnic on Sunday. I hope you will all be sufficiently recovered from the dinner that some of you will make it to the picnic! |

Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Sam: It's been great to read what everyone has been up to. What's the deal with the people with 4 kids? I don't know where you guys get the energy. I don't know if I'll make the reunion dinner, but I'm looking forward to the family picnic the next day. |
