Alright, still debating on the 82-85 reunion that is coming up in less than 2 weeks!  I know JB is in along with Aaker, Scurr, Brasch, Bigler, Wagner & Galvin.  I'm working on Sintchak (even though he's 84!), Cingolani, Crevin, Bach, Cooper.  Any other takers?  I posted some MATS photos of one of our excursions to the Casa and also some photos of our 85 picnic we had a few years back.  Check them out; they are on the 82-85 reunion website.

Is jb Jeff Bird?? If so, I saw you at the Rush concert.  Was that one heck of a concert or what?? You were there with Kurt Piper and I was there with my sister, who was in his grade.  Was gonna say hi but didn't think you would recognize me..... anyway, hi all... September reunion sounds like a blast and looking forward to seeing everyone!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm getting married to my partner of eighteen years on September 21, 2007. The day after that is my fortieth birthday. I'm glad Miramonte now has a Gay/Straight Alliance. I wish our class had had one, it would have made life easier. Thinking of you. "Shostakovich"

I am laughing at the stories that some of you have sent me regarding our highschool parties. Bill Holt...you would always gather "just a few" friends together while house sitting at the Seifert's (my introduction to quarters), Lynne B. introduced me to cigarettes (I am thankful that that one never turned into a habit!), and Jan...remember us coming home one night and Steve getting mad because he could smell the alcohol on our breaths "from a mile away"? Keep the stories coming you guys but put them on this message board so we can all have a good chuckle! Also, keep the rsvp's coming!!! Laura

KEGGER AT ROKAS' HOUSE! Dust off those Izods, Penny Loafers, OP's, cheerleading uniforms, football jerseys, concert shirts, (or whatever you were wearing at the time) and "Come As You Were" to Lisa Rokas' house in Danville on Saturday, July 29th, from 6PM -?? for a Miramonte class of '85 BBQ! We are thinking $35.00 per person but that may change depending on turnout. Please email me directly if you are planning on coming (ltbeaty@comcast.net). All this being said, we hope you light weights brush up on your "quarters" game and "Thriller" moves because there will be a few surprises throughout the evening (hopefully those surprises don't include any puke!) and remember...at our age there is no "too cool" anymore so it is expected that everyone who comes be in costume!! Looking forward to hearing from you all! PS...Did we mention NO kids?? Laura and Lisa

Just think this time last week, we already had the Casa/Round-up under our belt and I think we were all anticipating the "big night"! What a great weekend.....really from start to finish.....I haven't had that much fun in years........I guess when you're home with 4 kids....well it's just different...I was glad to find out I still have that party girl buried inside me.....I'll have to let her out more often!! Just as everyone else has said it Really was so great to see everyone.....I think the general concensus is that time has been a little kinder to the women.....sorry guys....talking to some people not only brought me back to high school, but to my childhood.....living on Bates, swim team at OPP, bus rides to Glorietta, working at the Vintage House and the the famous Black's Market, the list goes on...A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE COMMITTEE for all your efforts in organizing such an outstanding affair. It really was a HUGE success. Thanks to Tad Buchanan for your generous contribution to keep us all connected....that's great news!

First and foremost, a giant thanks to the reunion committee.... the many meetings and multiple phone conversations is all appreciated by us. You can never tire of us thanking you all. Next, Jeff Bird and I would say Bill Holt always had a way of making sounds or phrases all the way through school. Jeff was very good at exchanging Nanu, Nanus with Jennifer Pratt.... I too look forward to seeing everyone at the holidays because the reunion had a bit of a 7th grade "First Dance" frenzy to it. I was so happy to be talking to someone, and then an ADD element would kick it where I felt so distracted. Therefore, I'm very thankful for a holiday gathering or better yet, all of us going to Matt Crevin's annual BBQ... I'm sure your wife wouldn't mind...

WOW, twenty years later... It felt just like walking back into a good old Miramonte bash, except for a few bald heads and impressive love handles, absolutely mind boggling to see all of those high school smiles on so many adult faces. Despite the massive case of jet lag, I can't say how moving it was to run into all of you again. I just wish we could have had a week, a month, hell, how about a school year to catch up. I will do everything I can to be back Cali side in December in order to pick up where we left off. In the mean time, should any of you be in Paris please do let me know (don't worry, the French don't bite, just a lot of useless growling). I'll show you how to order a decent meal without getting verbally accosted. Anyway, thanks to everyone who set up this event. All of your hard work made for a lot of unforgettable memories. Just one thing, what does KOUDOS mean? Man, I've been gone way too long...

A hearty thank you to the reunion committee and all involved for making Saturday night a truly remarkable one. I'm still replaying conversations over in my head, and will probably do so for another week. It's amazing how many memories surfaced that I thought were long buried under my cortex. I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. In a weird way it was comforting to know I wasn't the only guy with a bit of social anxiety going in (a lot of stuff goes through your head after 20 years ;). You people have aged beautifully...especially you women. I look forward to staying in touch with all of you that I had lost connection with over the last couple decades; don't hesitate to drop me a line. Cheers, Chris

One would think that after my years of performing major events all over the world that I would not be nervous entering that door @ OCC!! Endearing to reconnect with old friends and talk to people I never really knew that well. Kristi D. , Jon Connnor knee'd you in the pills back @ Glorietta, it haunts me to this day. Cingolani, Crevin, Brown , Lapporte (mia) and Caselle my mentors of mischief. As the years carve their lines in my skin, I see that this is not the case for all of the beautiful women of 85. The committee is to be commended for an event that brought so many smiles.

I think Kevin Solt's wife, Summer, noticed the best thing...everyone looks so good, healthy, and happy! For 200+ people, everyone seemed to be taking care of themselves. Special thanks to JB for giving me that first phone call to fill me in on this event. Many 'pats on the back' for all people involved on putting together a fantasic reunion! Thank you class of '85 for the memories 20 yrs gone by and for the new ones I will have of this fantastic weekend. I am thankful to have many of you as my friends - I was thrilled to see so many happy faces and smiles - it was great to hear about your lives as adults, your families the changes we have gone through. Shari and I were blessed with your comments and recollections of all the fun we had. Kelly - your comment will go "down" in history in my memory bank. Thank you to the committee for the unbelievable job putting together the venues, the food, the lists, the set up/breakdown etc. This even was a success because of you!

Wow. What memories the weekend brought up. I can't remember the last time I went out two nights in a row. Sheila - thanks for reminding me I was at Briones with you (and Lynn etc.) swimming and that we gave the guys such a thrill with that knot. Doug - did I really put dog food in that sandwich. Did it taste good? Laura- tube tops or what? Sean - what a nice conversation we had. You were too funny. Flea and Maddy - that was too fun spending all that time together. Did someone say the wild 3. (Jan?) Don - sorry what I said about your hair and that was a great comeback. Lavon and Mary - you are up here to Nevada City New Years for the Dead Beats and Blue Turtle Seduction. Jeff - you are so wild. I think there were 6 people in the car. 3 days...Thanks Kaaren for driving us and putting up with our lack of decision making. Maddy - you have to get those Friday night Round Up pictures in. Dave - thanks for the financial advise Friday night. Greg - Sacramento will grow on you. Jim -my old neighbor. Nice to see your little one and had fun in S.F.. Dave - I can't believe our daughters went to Camp Augusta together and know each other. Jon and Dave - you should move to NC. It's a great place. Bill - the Mine Shaft. Michelle and Dayna - Bloody Mary and Ouji Boards....I know there are many more people and conversations but I have to go now. Everyone looked so good and it was such a great time!

Visit me in NYC! I am familiar with a relative number of beverage establishments here in Gotham....

To the committee, You ROCK, y'all! The reunion was a huge hit! Thank you so much! To the Gopher gang, I had so much fun catching up with the old crew...I just wish we had more time to catch up. Now, to my good friend Laura (Smith), thank you so much for sharing with your husband that I tried to slip you the tongue at a 7th grade dance and that you were sooo horrified that you made Dana Abel break-up with me! That was a good one!!! Cheers to all! JR

wow. hysterical. what a pleasant blur. great to see everyone and open the floodgates of recollection. i felt compelled to check the board for any/all recapping of festivities and last-minute, hazy, alcohol induced memories. glad to see the board is still active! perhaps a few new pics will be generated for the photo album, i think a few flash bulbs went off during the weekend? btw, whoever pulled out the 1979 sleepy hollow 6th grade class pic gets bonus points! of course, thanks to the committee - amazing. best regards, h.b. What an experience! What a great turnout! Thank you everyone for making Saturday night so wonderful... after planning for months, I must say the party turned out wonderfully! Thanks, Mary, Jon, Jeff, Scott, and Kaaren for making this a fun experience (by the way, where were you, Kaaren...I missed you!) Although my husband and I left at 10:30 due to some jet lag and pregnancy exhaustion, I'm glad that we made it out from NYC for the reunion. It was great catching up with some of you... Laura Smith, Ashlie M, Holly H., Dayna Birkley, Kelly Geen, Jennifer Rowland, Jan Rua, Lisa Peterson, April Wagner, Lynn Bigler, Cindy Noss, Kelly F, John Larsen, Jon Conner, Tad Buchanan, Mike Wylie, Sean Carroll, Mike Tamaro, John Doolittle (and spouses)....it was so great to see and talk to all of you! All of the high school stories are still hilarious, and my husband got a peek into my past as a crazy teenager. You all look wonderful after all these years - I must say, we've all held up pretty well over the last 20 years. I wish I had had more time and more energy to talk to more people... although I feel like I've already gotten reacquainted (or acquainted for the first time) with everyone by putting together the website. Pictures will be up soon, so check back! Hope to see you all in 5 or 10 to do it again - next time we'll stay longer!

What a BLAST!!! Thanks to all the committee members for throwing a terrific party! It was such fun catching up with everyone; and meeting some significant others. Observations...life is good and we all seem to have aged well. There were a few surprises for me...Mike Merrill, Dave Cingolini (I can now see it) John Doolittle and Kevin Solt not as surprising but I did a double take on both, The distinguished gentlemen - Jeff Ryan and Tad Buchanan, Hotties - Tracy Travland and Vicki Vigo, Did we leave highschool?- Wendy Warren and Claudia Inkamp, HB and Cam (do they not look exactly like they did in highschool?), Just like old times - Tom Cooper, Dave Taylor, Greg Enloe, Kelly Ferrero and Jan Rua. One complaint...Who put Audrey Hawkins at the door? We'll have to rethink that strategy next time around :). Tim McKeegan - you did great! George Rokas, you better watch your back! Kudos to Jennifer Aaker and Lynne Bigler who JUST had babies and still made it. Friday night at the Casa was a great start to the weekend. I loved chatting with all of you especially Kevin, Peter, Joey and Mike (Dana Kelly and April too!) And thanks for the pre-heat bash John! Dave Bach, I have one question...Do you or don't you? And by the way...Joey Caselle's bio WAS real!! :) PS...This was not meant to offend anyone, so please don't take it that way!!! See you all the next time around!

Who knows if anyone will actually read this on the eve of the reunion, but to tag onto Tim Mc's message about Mrs. Dunlap (remember her singing opera in the halls?)...the sex ed Q&A was hysterical, we all lost it when Mike Tettleman raised his hand and asked "what do you do if you have to go to the bathroom when you're having sex"...you know EVERY boy in class was dying to know the answer to that one...

O.k., if we're going to debate 5th grade romance at Glorietta....Vicky, I really thought I had something w/ Mike Tettleman when he gave me the Pablo Cruise, Worlds Away, album for Valentines Day. More Glorietta MIA Robbie Slater, Jim Pounds, Craig Matthews, Gordon Sweeny, Jeff Kratz, David Thompson, I can still remember Mrs Dunlap doing sex ed and the great Q&A that followed and the first thanksgiving, lots of firecrackers at school and really unacceptable behavior towards Lynn, Cheri, Kristi, etc. Remember when Kristi kneed Jeff Ryan in the nuts?

Good memory on Robbie Slater, Lynne. He probably got more 3 x 5 cards than any kid at Glorietta. Perhaps he was unduly influenced by the rebellious lyrics of KISS's Double Platinum. Watson is right, Jon. I thought you and Cheri were an item.

I made it to the message board Denyse Brasch Shaw. Won't ever forget the memories on Tahos/Bates Maddy and driving the famous station wagon. How about bopping along back in those Brookwood days and parties at Sean's. We will miss you Sean. Early am's spent alongside MHS tennis courts and who can forget The Miramonte Gardens? How about some of those afternoon lunch gigs off campus? Late nights/swims/concerts/parties. Will always remember the Bezerkly days. And the dark choc chip cookies/zombies for those early morning munchies. We still laugh about it at our get-to-gethers. Happy to see such a big turnout for our 20th and looking forward to sharing old times. Gracias to reunion committee for making this event happen.

Hi Lynn Bigler! Do you remember going "down to Orinda" to the Orinda Theater to watch a movie with our boyfriends Mike Tettleman and Brian Sidlow! We thought we were so cool sitting up in the back - who knows what movie we saw...we were too into holding hands with the boys! Other memories for Glorietta and OIS days...Bill's Drugs (now Walgreens or some other drug store)..Lord's ice cream...Black's Market...running into my Dad's Orinda Hardware store to get gum out of the gumball machine...and to the Glorietta Gophers out there...I drive my nieces crazy by singing the "Glorietta white and blue, listen while we sing to you..." mascot song to them, especially since they go to Wagner Ranch... 5th grade camp at Donner!! Yelling "Mr. Isola, we love you!" on the bus ride up to camp...Gretchen and Heidi I wanted to marry your brother and he wasn't even my counselor...Robert Cudd's 6th grade graduation class where to this day I defend myself that Dave Cingolani did NOT cut his lip on my braces...Talking about 20 year old memories...it's hilarious to go back 25 - 30 years!

Kelly, Dana, Susie, Trisha and April-- you are all losers for not registering on the website! Jon, you brought back some great memories from Glorietta and Meadow. Kristi and Jeff should remember that day in "the creek." Does anyone remember Robbie Slater? He was always getting busted for something. Ape, remember when Brian Sidlow knocked our heads together "like two eggs" Alisa Dagan -- I hope you're coming to the reuinion! Where is Duncan Rowland? Ok, I'll jump on the who-married-who bandwagon. To all you girls out there that "had to have your MTV" (aka Michael Thomas Vigo)...Lynnie, Kelly F, etc..my brother married Jennifer Mitgang, both class of 83. They live in Orinda near OCC and I also have three beautiful little Vigo nieces. Annie, where is Nancy Linfoot? I was thinking that you, Amy, Kellie K, and I, etc, could all catch a ride to the reunion in her bronco....ha! we could stop in Berkeley and I could give a cute college boy $20 to buy us beer...then he could take the $$ and run (remember that? what friggin idiots we were). Ron, Doug, Dave, Andy, Jeff Adams, Matt C and Dave Cingo...you guys corrupted Dickson to the point he still asks how you are all doing...Lynnie and Chila, remember walking behind Bill Maier and saying "Hike!Hike!" because he constantly pulled up his pants...and Laura Smith...remember Kellogg's class when he had a coronary that I "won" the Northern CA spanish contest, he had a party for me..."Muy Bien Bicky Bigo!" when in reality I was hungover and Susie Porter entered the contest as me and came in 1st place...to this day my mom is crushed to know I cheated...Amy and Lisa, looking forward to meeting you before the reunion...I'll catch up with you next week when I'm back from NY.

Um, the obvious marriage, in case everyone hasn't figured it out yet, is Ashley, & Ray. How exactly did that one happen? Tell us all about it! Yeah, looking forward to seeing you two. :-) AND your brood at the picnic. Okay, Mr. Jackson's class. I almost peed my pants AGAIN thinking about that one. Man, what was that guy all about??? Those animal figurines on his desk cracked me up. In fact, I remember being sent out of the room once because I couldn't control my laughter over his story about camels. And, to this day I hear his words of wisdom about driving..."always think ahead, look around because you never know how the other drivers are going to react." He was one of a kind for sure. Jeff, what ARE you talking about with Mich, myself & Pink Floyd? Sorry, no clue. But hey, yeah, we knew the good stuff I suppose. Since it's that time of year I'm reflecting on all the awesome halloween costumes some of you came up with. Who were the Fruit of the Loom girls? How many of us actually dressed like Madonna one year? Mich & Lisa - Snap, Crackle, Pop!

some random memories: "It's All Fun and Games Until Someone Loses a Testicle" (what PE teacher gave that lecture about not towel-snapping in the locker room?) my first concert: Def Leppard "High & Dry" tour (still have the shirt) (thanks Austin Babcock) sneaking beer out of the house (warm from sitting in underwear drawer); each bottle inside a tube sock so they wouldn't clank around inside those Converse bags people used instead of backpacks getting a ride to school: in David Mormino's old Mercedes (RIP but it's no wonder he died behind the wheel) and in Joe Elardy's El Camino (needed the occasional whack with a bat to get the starter to work) Fourth of July fireworks on John Moore's cul-de-sac: one neighbor bought a gross of bottle rockets, another blew up a Digger-the-Dog and other children's toys with M-80's, and the grand finale: someone's dad detonated a home made pipe bomb while the whole street hid in the bushes

Whoa. Alexander, stop right there. Dint like the back hand swipe at being on the 8th grade C team. We were todays USC Trojans' 2nd team-still capable of being in the top ten in the country. Look man, we were running the veer triple option offense in the true spirit of JC Watts, Jamelle Holloway, Turner Gill. Fact is, we should be having the 25 year reunion of those glorius C teams. Coolidge, how did you hit the ball so far?

Hi to All from AZ! I didn't have time to read through all the messages, but will over the next few days. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion -- I couldn't make the 10 year because I was about to have my first kid! If anyone else from the volleyball team is out there -- send me a message! And softball -- what a wild bunch that was....I'm surprised we all made it out alive after the late-night Moosehead/TPing parties!

Yes Mary. I remember that Tahoe trip in Jr. High... and many more after school parties at your house. You did have the party house. What about that senior grad trip to Hawaii. Rachel and I had to get make fake IDs since we were still 17. I think Hilary made them for us. We could only get into about half the bars with them but we still had a great time. Lavon and Rachel - remember senior ball? Michelle - how many times did we see Greece at Sleepy Hollow? Lots of concerts. Too many to remember. And then as Mary said, there was the Dead. Maddy - do you remember that first show at Oakland? Have you ever laughed that hard? Maddy, Flea, Sean - many many memories. Too may to name and they keep coming with our girl get togethers. See you all in less than 2 weeks.

Whoooaaa, I am laughing and trying to control my head spins from all of the memories rolling back! Sterling, you pulled me in with the cheer for the Gophers! As I type this email, I have to thank the Miramonte staff lush, Mr. Wilcox for giving me these great typing skills. Even though, my hands are moved one key too far to the left....He used to walk back into class and yell, "Who has manipulated my clocckkckk?!" The Tubes. Road trips to Tahoe. Driving our Willy's Jeep school in the rain wearing "borrowed" waterpolo jackets. The Miramonte Disaster Squad. Having Cingolani, who started shaving at 12, buy us beer in Rheem. Yep, kick the can at Breuner's - Watch out for Big Don ! Eating burgers in one bite at Jack in the Box with Lom, Caselle, etc... Wendy Warren, not only stinking up the family truckster with cloves, but putting pink moose in my hair in route to the most sweatty concert, bad dd that night. Forget Kelly's VW, you had the red Triumph! Did Mrs. Noonen really where her night gown to our classes? Someone yelling Shippey takes bong hits as they walked by our class, and all he did was turn around and smile. The great station wagon race on hwy 24. Didn't one guy roll a J.E.E.P? ie: G.O. H. B. ! I think the post reunion party is at Enloe's.....

O.K. Now you guys are really rolling! Mary... as I recall, you were the first person to ever get me stoned on "magic" brownies while we were babysitting Sterling. That night I laughed so hard i think i pulled a muscle. I remember a great trip to Graegle staying up half the night and getting crazy. I still love Millie's coffeecake to this day and I love you guys! Now--Lisa, Kendra, Laura, Laura remember JV Cheer camp? We won the coveted Spirit award for being Spirit Donkeys? Any other cheerleaders remember getting drunk before games, getting lettuce thrown at us at assemblies and dancing to Rock Lobster, Yaz & the Romantics thanks to Heidi & Lizzies awesome taste in music. Keep it coming everybody-jen

I am playing hooky today from work and reading these...Where is Kendra? She has evaporated? You know Amy you used to tell me how good my memory was...I now can't even remember an e-mail I wrote two weeks ago...but now I am sitting here thinking...there are sooooo many memories...however, I am having trouble recalling the "good clean" ones...just the ones that always involved getting into trouble...and just in case I run for President I won't incriminate myself or any of my accomplices:)) BUT the days of Berkeley, Tahoe, waking friends up at 6am on their bday and drinking screwdrivers, and trying to leave at lunch and not get caught were fun...

OK, now for the Moraga kids - Tom C., remember Mr. Heath's 5th grade class at Los Perales? .... you and I were the FAT kids that year! Thank goodness I went roller skating with Kendra everyday after school and got rid of all that baby fat :-) Kaaren, Dave B., Tom C., Hilarie, Kendra, Shana, Kathleen S., etc..... remember when we had to leave all of our friends at Joaquin Moraga Intermediate to go to Miramonte, while they all went to Campo? I think it's safe to say that it all worked out really well, but starting our freshman year as "the new kids" was SO painful!.... I remember Peter Woodberry getting his driver's license freshman year, and offering to drive a bunch of us to the AC/DC concert at the Cow Palace. Unfortunately, my mother and grandmother insisted on driving Jan and I to the concert and attempting to follow Woodberry's wagon the whole way. So humiliating!

We made all of our kids (her 3, my 2) order the Coffee Cake, yum yum. Sleepy Hollow memories I have are, Conrad the Janitor, Bike races (I won the slowest bike rider) and Lynn and I racing to get to the corners of the Monkey Bars at recess. OIS - Mary and Jennifer...our black tank tops and cowboy hats, yikes! Cindy, remember the Marine Recruitment Center in Concord and trying to enlist? Who remembers Zombie's at the cafeteria at MHS? I still crave those. See you all soon!

Amy, I could still do the "Freak Out" dance! What about Bill and Jill "Glad to have a friend like you" song we had to do. As for Musante's class...What about the CA Thayer overnight? Or ringing the bell each morning and Pioneer days? I remember the BG's video too! Or the Village People dance with Holt, Dase, JB, Fabian, Spight (there was one more, wasn't there?). Retchwig just passed away, but yeh, I remember the Kita incident too. Gretch...I always tell Meg that the kick the can night was one of my favorite highschool memories! What great, pure, fun! What about Nations after the football games (or am I the only one who remembers Nations because I WORKED there??). The Gregg Kihn concert where Marianne (or was it Dana?) peed on the freeway? Gotto run!

Ifer, Michelle, Cindy: Wonder Bread Cinnamon Toast - yum!!! Oh yes & Ouija Boards...sorry Betsy about the death scare. Mr. Gompf's class rocked! Who all went to his house in SF for dinner that night? That was so cool. How about Latin Club? Chris Genau, Louis & Christina I know you have memories to share. Mich-FBI!!! Hey, let's do the Bay to Breakers again, that was so much fun (and challenging). Remember all the naked guys (ugh, doesn't that hurt when they run?) Okay...Who else out there actually listened to Journey? Don't Stop Believing! Hours upon hours along with the Go-Go's while playing Pac-Man and Astroids in Graegle. STRIP UNO!!! Rocky Horror in Bezerkly anyone? Okay, one more...MILLIE'S!!! Before school started in the am with one of us having been kidnapped in our PJ's for our birthday. Those were great times. All you folks who live around there, is it still a great place to eat? Alrighty then, time to break out the real incriminating memories! Senior Year: To my wild & crazy buddies, you know who are...the "friend" lives on. And we still got our homework done? How about cruising to a roller skating rink on a whim and Millis breaking his wrist I think? It was those black lights, I just know it. The concerts were great! Rush, The Who, Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden (whoo hoo) & OZZY!!! and then off on a different tangent...the Dead. Ah Joel, the parties we had, we did it right! Hey friends remember the Lobster parties after the Greek? Poor Kay was so distraught over the mass slaughtering of innocent creatures. Nemode recently brought up memories of keggers at my house. Yeah, uh, well...I always ended up with a pile of stuff left by everyone when it was all said & done. Hey, at least we had a carpool system or simply alot of room to crash so you didn't have to drive home. My dad was always upset that I forgot to add water to the hot tub again. OR rather filled it with beer instead. Hacky Sack Lives!!! I actually played it with my nephew last month. I'm better now than I was then( I know-that's not difficult to accomplish)

How about the girls ski trip in Jr High. Denyse- you know what I'm talking about. I can't believe we got away with all that. OR the co-ed one at Donner SKi Ranch. Didn't a bunch of us go out at night, climb a hill and overlook Donner Lake underneath the stars? That was awesome. Ah yes, lots of Tahoe memories. Ifer...you better chime in here! Your memory is just as good as mine. Must be why I settled here :-) Going way back... Lynne, Michelle, Tanya and gosh, who else? Remember my 13th BDay party at Tilden? Does the term "trash bags" ring a bell? I have pictures to prove it. Tanya, I'll never forget your endearing term for our right of passage-Leaky Faucet. Or this one time sleeping over at your house. It was storming and I was so scared by all the shadows from the trees. But I was even more chicken to go tell you about it.

Laura Smith, do you remember our dance to "Freak Out" for that same talent show? And Ashley Montgomery, I remember you being "the new girl" around that time and you wore those cool satin pants! Going back to Sleepy Hollow... everyone should take a moment to think of Mrs. Jones. "Whoah Jones with the maximum bones" Marv Moss getting mad at Ms. Knight for letting her class slide down the hill for PE. The big "Feasts" and the miners lettuce walks. All those logic problems in his class-- I never got to play in the corner with all his smart games because I never finished early. I remember Kevin Fergason giving Sheila Walsh an entire container full of grape bubbleyum. And then 5th grade. Musante what a pain that was. The only good thing was Bill Holt putting on Betsey's swim suit and the BG's movie. If only that could be played at our reunion. Jeff Bird you think Mrs. Gross was bad- imagine watching Mr. Davis throw his tupee across the room all the time. Don't forget about the great room Mrs. Petit's class built in the corner of the classroom. We all walked up to Andrew McCall's class to get scrap wood for it. Tony Deger-every girl remembers him, just like it seems many guys remember Trish Ettleson. C'est vrai. Finally, here's to Mrs. Hearing, the best of the best. Wait, wait, I just want to mention the game of Kick the Can because those are great memories.

i can't forget the election slogan, "Lowell Keller, the social feller" 20 years later. I also remember a food fight in the library and the librarian (i think we knew her as nest-head) banning someone from the library "for life". I also remember Mr. Thomas going berzerk at Don Nemode when Nemode told Frank that he had huge feet and they looked bigger in the orange converse shoes. I also remember the classic Joe Casselle / Dave Morrow fight in Lom's backyard, someone throwing Enloe's crurch 30 feet up into a tree, and road trips to Santa Cruz and Tahoe but couldn't tell you where my school locker was.

okay, I just read all of these. you guys are funny. I do remember you falling through the glass at fondue freds, marianne. was that the same night we went to the eurythmics and general public in the watson's clove-filled family truckster? jeff, I loved the fix and the thompson twins at that day-on-the-green (scary). gretchen, I think "warren and breuner, we publicize sooner" has got the be the worst tag ever used (even though it worked). I was also jealous of kelly ferraro's white convertible rabblit. It was very cool. I have fond memories of bringing kahlua to mr. annas' class for milkshake parties, counting the number of times the f word appeared in scarface and roller derby, and then doug talking annas into letting him take my blazer four-wheeling in the mud behind school. what an education!

Nothin' like a bunch of sloppy boys hangin out by the pool! ... Oh, Profitt... what a genuine guy! Love that smile! ... Is Kellogg still wearing that black & white checkered jacket? Probably still not washed, either... I think Wilcox should have had a salt tablet on his desk, like the horses have in their corral. ... Nice to think about your smiles and laughter everyone! Since we won't make it down for the reunion and I won't get to see Bill's devil-look in person (blasting AC/DC for 20 plus years has obviously proved extremely detrimental to not only his appearance but also to his career track--though I'm sure he is an outstanding exotic dancer!), I am appealing to everyone to post some photos of the various reunion events so those of us who can't make it can catch up digitally... And don't be knocking the lovely, coordinated pink and white prom outfits some of us chose to wear (glad Dave Bach wasn't the only one)... If I remember, I wore a lovely white dress with pink sash for the Senior Prom that perfectly matched Lowell Keller's pink cumberbund and bow tie... Egads, Lowell, what were we thinking???! Just kidding--I thought we looked very dashing... By the way, a little more news, my husband and I are in the process of adopting a daughter (our first child!) from China. By next summer, we should be Beijing-bound! We are so excited! Sorry we won't be joining you in October! Lynne

Reading everyone's messages here really takes me back. It will be great to see everyone. I never really partied with a lot of you, but I have lots of great memories. One of the best times was the grad trip to Hawaii. I remember Mr. Rinehart being one of the ultra coolest teachers (even though he was a HUGE flirt) to have with us. I saw him a couple of years ago in my restaurant and, like Mr. Gompff he looked practically the same. I remember seeing Tom Selleck driving down the street and one of our hotel security guards was one of the characters in the Brady Bunch Hawaii special. I also remember drinking more than I ever had in that one week. Keep the memories coming! jen

I remember the Hostess pie! Remember Mike Profitt's graduation party?? What about Typing class with Wilcox (or with Birnsed - yeh, I had BOTH!)...Wilcox was ALWAYS licking salt! Who else had Kellogg for Spanish? We always had to conjegate the same words in I, II, and III! For you girls out there (ok, I won't mention names but there were plenty of guys too!)...we all cut 7th period to watch the Luke and Laura wedding! Lynne Bigler - remember snapping our gum in Sheppee's math class and him being so stoned (so we thought) that he could never figure out what that sound was? As for the car question...Kelly Ferreros "chbbybny" convertible was pretty cool however, Marianne's moms "peica" came in a close 2nd!

Here’s a few things that came to mind quickly while thinking of high school: Running fast to avoid getting taped before a rally, Profit’s pool house and beach house(hope he’s in a happy place), guys arguing over $3 for a party or “gas money”, Mr. Gomph’s Crafts class, Kendy sleeping while standing up in Blackwood’s class, Cingolani buying beer because he had a beard in 9th grade, Bill Holt’s pool, Dave Bach thinking that every high school kid had a credit card, O’Rear’s “milk mistake” in Mr Thomas’ class, Jack in the box food before soccer practice (ughh) Hope you're all well

Jeff and Marianne- you guys are awesome! Thank you so much for helping me get in contact with Cynthia White. How fantastic that I was able to use this website to reconnect with an old best friend. I appreciate your help! I won't be able to attend the reunion, but hello to everyone.

Okay friends..our "Help Us Find" list is still way too long. We only have 60 days until the big October event. Even if you've been passing on info or emails to others WE really need at least their email address, phone # or smail mail address so we can stop looking for them. It's a challenge, ya know! PLEASE..Give us a shout sooner than later if you have contact with any of the missing classmates. We don't want to miss anyone if we can help it. THANK YOU!!!! :-) Oh and...See you in 5 days if you can make it to the Pyramid Brewery. Bill Holt, I'll take the first pint - a Stout if they have it, yeah!

Seeing a lot of familiar names floating around here. Haven't been back out from Texas in some time and I'm sure Orinda is looking quite different these days. I remember a coach Durant (I think) and going to see Van Halen....The day on the green adventures JB mentions below. Pretty good times. Wish I could be there to catch up but no can do....Can't miss the Dad's surprise 70th B-day. You all have fun.

Hey, David.... remember you wore a matching pink cumberbund and bowtie :-) Ahhh, those were the days! I've been in and out of the city most of the summer, and will be gone most of August... I bet Amagansett is beautiful, enjoy! For everyone else... I have received several photos from some of you, so go to the Photo Album page and reminisce. There are some GREAT pictures! Keep them coming! - Marianne

Marianne (my pink dressed Junior Prom date) now I'm cracking up! I was standing next to you when you guys went through the window...that was a miracle you guys weren't hurt. I remember your face like it was yesterday!!! To funny...I hope all is well, we gotta connect in NYC this summer. Call me. And to Lynn Bigler---do you remember me taking you to Fondue Fred's (forgeting our tickets to the Billy Idol) concert and having to go all the way home to get them (leaving you there to have that Champagne Fondue). I think the champagne was Andre's! I'm in the Hamptons alll summer...are you up here? Let's connect--I'm in Amagansett.

JB - I completely lost it this morning when you sent this message about Fondue Freds and the New Beijing restaurant in Berkeley: "..believe it or not fondue freds is still open..go there on occasion but not in a while..new beijing is something different now..were you there the night bill and i fell through the window of that shoe store when we were having "chicken fights" ... there were about 150 people in that little courtyard in front of the new beijing..when we crashed through the window everyone literally scattered and it was like a ghost town..too funny...i remember being a founding member of the "beijing track team"..." I certainly wont be sharing these stories with my kids someday, but I'm sure glad we all made it out alive! - Marianne It's been great reminiscing!
